Project Spotlight | Highlands Falls

This extensive 8,000 SF interior luxury country club renovation included all the common area spaces including the entrance area/lobby with fireplace, conference room, dining rooms, bar with folding windows to the outside, and new wine storage. A rebuild of the Porte Cochere and the addition of a pavilion for outdoor dining made this renovation breathtaking (along with the views).

Project Spotlight | Hudson Nash

This project consisted of restoring and stabilizing two buildings that were previously in a different location.

The restoration included rebuilding one of the front porches, repairing and repainting the exterior of both structures, and building steel ADA ramps on the back of both buildings. Numerous site work improvements were also made on the Hudson Nash Farmhouse, including a new pasture fence, sidewalks, gravel paths, and a steel boardwalk.

Project Spotlight | The Bricks

The Bricks Multifamily project is one of the more spectacular historic restoration projects Macallan Construction has had the pleasure of working on. The original structure was built in 1838 and served as a hospital during the Civil War. It featured a designation as the oldest apartment building in the United States and originally housed mill workers near the Roswell Mill. Macallan worked closely with the Owners and the Roswell Historical Preservation Commission to develop a plan that preserved the integrity of the original Bricks structure while re-purposing the building for 21st century tenants. Macallan was recognized with a Contractor of the Year Award for Historical Preservation from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
